Valley Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant Near Winchester, VA
About Us: We are a dynamic pediatric dental office dedicated to providing top-notch oral care to children in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our team is committed to creating positive dental experiences for our young patients, and we are looking for a skilled Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hygiene assisting and support dentist in procedures
- Provide chairside support and comfort to young patients
- Perform orthodontic assisting duties as needed
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Assist with front office tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
- X-ray certification is required (can be obtained during training)
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is a bonus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
- Passion for working with children and creating a positive dental experience
Compensation: Compensation is based on experience level. We are willing to train candidates who are motivated and eager to learn. Training compensation will be provided during the training period, and a salary increase will be granted upon successful completion of training.
